A pause from autopilot

Modern life makes it easy to react, scroll, and move through the day on autopilot.

This talk invites a pause.

Through a simple and grounded message, Waking Up from Digital Seizures to Elevate Your Life explores how digital distraction affects our clarity, energy, and sense of purpose, and why waking up to these patterns is the first step toward living with more intention.

About the speaker

Jeff’s perspective on attention and memory was forged through personal adversity. After an emergency room visit revealed he was suffering from recurring temporal lobe seizures—a condition that temporarily wiped his short-term memory—Jeff experienced firsthand what it feels like to be physically present yet mentally disconnected from the world around him.

This realization led Jeff to define the concept of "Digital Seizures"—the involuntary compulsions, notifications, and screen addictions that disrupt our awareness, fracture our relationships, and steal our most meaningful life moments. Jeff lives with his wife, Jenn, and their six children in Southern California.
